The Department of Family Medicine at the University of Illinois Medical Center provides high quality, continuous and comprehensive health care for people of all ages, infants through adulthood. All our family physicians are board-certified and are active members of the faculty of the UIC College of Medicine. They are dedicated to the advancement of medical knowledge through education and research in addition to superior service to their patients.

Adult Medicine – Preventive and health-maintenance care; annual physicals; skin biopsy and mole removals; minor surgeries, chronic disease management, travel immunizations.
Obstetric Care – Pregnancy, childbirth and post-partum care.
Gynecology – Pap smears, pregnancy planning, diagnosis and treatment of sexually transmitted diseases, mammograms, and menstrual disorders.
Pediatric care – Well-baby check-ups, immunizations, treatment for childhood illness.
Occupational Medicine – Diagnosis and treatment for work-related problems; community health issues.
Geriatric care – Preventive and health-maintenance care; diagnosis and treatment of chronic health problems and problems related to aging; minor surgeries.
Sports Medicine – Sports injury prevention; diagnosis and treatment of sports related problems; rehabilitation planning, education and treatment.
Illness Prevention and Treatment – Patient education; diagnosis and treatment of respiratory, gastrointestinal, cardiac, endocrine (diabetes), and other types of problems such as HIV and mood disorders.
Urgent care – Care within 24 hours of calling the office for acute, urgent, but non-emergency problems, including care of new onset minor illness and trauma
