 University of Illinois Medical Center’s Women’s Health Associates provides comprehensive, quality health care for women throughout their reproductive years and beyond – at a convenient downtown location. A team of physicians, nurse-midwives and other health professionals provide services such as primary care for women, routine check-ups and evaluations, and family planning and birth control. The treat and manage normal and high-risk pregnancies, sexual disorders, menstrual disorders, menopause problems, pre-cancerous conditions of the female genital tract and abnormal Pap smears. Women’s Health Associates also offers basic evaluation and treatment of infertility, pediatric and adolescent gynecology, breast disorders and infections in women (including HIV).

Specialized
Women’s Health Associates also provides specialized services such as reproductive endocrinology and infertility, material-fetal medicine (high-risk obstetrics and perinatology), gynecologic oncology, and urogynecology (female bladder problems). Our physicians and scientists have experience evaluating infertile couples whose primary problem is the male's sperm.
- Diagnostic Hysteroscopy
Many of our physicians are skilled in using our diagnostic hysteroscopy technology. This is the "technique of choice" for seeing inside the uterus and evaluating many gynecologic problems. This service is completed in an office setting, avoiding the expense and inconvenience of the operating room.
- Antenatal Testing
Antenatal testing is an integral part of caring for women with high-risk pregnancies. Using a variety of technologies we are able to check the health of the unborn child. Our specialists are trained to deal with a test result that indicates a possible health risk. |
