Perinatal Center We are one of the 6 State designated Perinatal Centers in Chicago, a referral center for high risk mothers and critically ill newborns from hospitals throughout Illinois. Our perinatologists provide consultation and care for high risk mothers while our neonatal specialists provide care for extremely small babies. Our facility includes a 22-bed intensive care nursery, 12-bed transitional nursery and a 32-bed newborn nursery. Special programs also include developmental follow-up diagnosis and treatment of high-risk infants.
