Comprehensive Care

The University of Illinois Medical Center specializes in hearing loss evaluation and treatment among children. It is one of only three centers in Illinois to offer pediatric cochlear implantation services. A cochlear implant is a surgically implanted device for severe to profound hearing-impaired individuals who do not receive benefit from even the most powerful hearing aids.
