Plastic, Reconstructive and Cosmetic SurgeryThe Division of Plastic, Reconstructive and Cosmetic Surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago was established over 65 years ago, as an independent unit within the Department of Surgery. The world renowned Craniofacial (link) and Maxillofacial (link) Centers were incorporated with the Division in 1995. Over 150 residents and international fellows received their training through our Division during these years and are currently practicing in various parts of the country and the world. Our mission is to provide the highest possible state-of-the-art compassionate and respectful care to all our patients and to maintain the appropriate intellectual environment to foster and promote education and research.
